zoo boo

We just LOVE the ZOO and the membership was the BEST gift ever (thanks Folh family), because I think we go at least once a week if not more while the weather is NICE!

This past Friday we went to ZOO BOO, which was too cute, except I did not get the Mommy memo that you were suppose to dress your kiddos up and bring their trick or treat bags! They had pumpkins decorating the zoo from the trees, in the animals "homes", and through out the park area!

Archer had SO much FUN-he got tattooed, temporary, got to "trunk or trick", and pick a pumpkin out of the "patch" to take home and now it has stickers ALL over it!

Ashton, "what is that?" He is sitting in a wagon at the pumpkin patch in the zoo holding his pumpkin that did not make it home!

An animal troff was filled with pumpkins and of course I had to sit the boys in it, but I could never get the both of them to focus- there was way too much going on for the two of them PLUS there was a huge line of MOMs wanting their turn too!

...and then Archer did not want to sit next to the scarecrow! It was scary! I thought to myself how can a little guy made of straw with a smile be scary?! Oh well...

Nana, my mom, came along with us and her and Archer were brushing the goats hair! Archer was so proud of himself! He just loves his Nana and I treasure the special times that we all can spend together, especially our picnic lunch that we had!

Brett's Birthday!

My little brother turned 25 this past Saturday, so the whole family celebrated at his favorite Mexican food restaurant with his favorite drink- it was quite entertaining!

My Mom and Brett, little brother, with my little angels- Archer and Ashton!

Uncle Cody, my little older brother, with Ashton- look how happy Ashton is with his Uncle Cody!

Before we got the restaurant- almost 30 minutes early- Ashton was in one outfit until we went to get him out of the car! He got a hold of Archer's water bottle in the back and needless to say spilled the whole thing all over him, so we went to Wal-Mart across the way and redressed him, otherwise he would of looked and felt like he just dove into the pool for a swim! Gotta love the look- $3 vintage looking shirt and $10 wrangler SUPER cute pants that cuffed at the bottom! I gotta find a closer Wal-Mart to us that's not ghetto...great bargains and I bet you didn't think it was from Wal-Mart!

teething?

The last two days have been a little rough to say the least...We, meaning Ashton and I, have been waking up every 2-3 hours and then around 3 or 4 we stay up and have a little "party" for about an hour and then cry ourselves to sleep after umm I don't know I lost count! I BELIEVE we are teething- I feel a sharpness on top and everything has been going into his mouth! Archer gave him a toothbrush to chew on and with the lack of sleep and needing to chew on something these pictures say the rest- no need for further words!

teething + lack of sleep = see pictures

My poor baby boy and boy oh boy is he my baby boy!
MAMA's BOY to the MAX...

pumpkin carvings-THE RESULTS

The pumpkin that Archer and Andrew carved- it has taken over a week to get these results! Gotta have a HAPPY pumpkin- we don't like HALLOWEEN- it is scary! We like FALL and AUTUMN per Archer!
The pumpkin lite with a candle- how cool! What a BIG nose it has... Archer picked out the shape of the eyes and nose! Good job Archer!

Frankie, Archer, and Andrew looking good with the pumpkin...
Of course- Mommy and Archer! I don't think I was able to breathe, but never fear we got a picture with our heads in it minus part of the pumpkin!
I just had to share this with ya'll: My son was taking pictures in the buff- bottom buff! GOSH- I tell you what! The reason and the story goes like this: Right before we came outside to put the pumpkin out Archer went to the restroom and needless to say we realized he never put his underwear back on (sometimes he is a whirlwind and between two parents trying to accomplish one task that task doesn't get completed to the fullest because the other "did it"!) and I didn't know that until we got inside and he was jumping around and I saw his little bottom shinning at me!

-the fuller folks- fully unaware of their underwear! LOL!

For more details go to: www.captivatedtogether.com and click on events.

Let me tell ya a little bit of what I know about the speakers at the event: Tammie Head- well she spoke at my Sunday school women's retreat back in July- it was such a sweet time and just let me tell you she LOVES the LORD and has such a special place in her heart for our age group! I wouldn't want to miss this opportunity to hear her again and how GOD uses her to speak to us!

Becky Kiser- she is a dear friend of mine that I met at church, but have truly grown to just adore! We laugh at each other, because she is just too funny and thinks I am too (kinda goofy sentence, but I hope you get it)! No matter where you are -she makes you feel at home and welcoming! She too LOVES the LORD and has a tenderness and excitement when she speaks about HIM!

Gina Webster spoke at our church wide women's retreat "meet me at the well!" and she is passionate about the LORD and you will walk away FILLED with HIS word!

Ryan Langford is apart of our worship team at church and he ROCKS- on FIRE for the LORD!

Don't miss out...

missed by _______

for sure by two little boys and one big boy!

nothing like coming home and seeing little faces light up with JOY that their Mommy is home, while Daddy takes a deep breathe and realizes he now has his boys Mommy back- (sigh) his wife and LOVE!

I had a FABulous time on the retreat, but I will blog about that in the next day or so, but I MUST share this evening before I forget the details of the sweetness!

Our normal routine- Andrew baths the boys one at a time- I feed and rock Ashton to sleep, Andrew finishes Archer's bath and then they read a book, sing a song, and prayer! I finish up with a hug and a kiss while making him snug as a bug in his bed- making sure his sheets are just right! Well we did all of that, but Archer wanted more Mommy time...

Picture this- he has pulled my head against his and pressed our checks together while his little arms wrapped around my neck and tells me shh...look at my turtle- it has lights in it- his is mad! I told Archer he is not mad- he is sleeping! Archer, "No Mommy-look at him!" I'm done (he released his arms from my neck) you can go! Shh though Ashton is sleeping- tippy toe! Night! Tell lovy night and my 2 Georges (stuffed animals-Monkey)! Mommy said "NIGHT!"

To the living room I went and Archer follows shortly there after...

I don't recall the last time he wanted me to rock him and I miss that so much- just the sweetness of those times! I sang to him and he rested his little head upon my shoulders and then suddenly raised up and asked me about my bobo! I showed him and he kissed it and said I love you and then rested his head again upon my shoulders! OK- my heart just melted! I then lay ed him down in his bed and the said he needed to fix my hair, so he ran his little hands through my hair and said turn-look at your shadow-I did and then he not done yet- YES I know he was procrastinating, but I will buy it since I was gone last night and he had a ROUGH night! Once he was done he told me I was pretty then smacked me with a kiss- asked me what my throat was- he then showed me where his "throap" (that is how he said it) and then grinned really big and lay ed down...

I just LOVE my boys and are SO blessed by their sweetness! God PROVIDED so much this weekend for me- a wealth of knowledge, HE filled my well with HIS words- HOPE, friendships that I couldn't of prayed for, because they are better than my prayers- they are just AMAZING, and children that LOVE, as well as a husband that sacrificed his sanity to give me a chance to get away! Thanks to my dear husband for allow this all to take place!

retreat

I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again...okay not really, but I am going to Houston's First Baptist Women's retreat in less than 4 hours to recharge my battery! I can't wait...

1. Packed my bag- I did good only one bag- I know it is only for a day and in 1/2, but I am the WORST at over packing! Go figure! When Andrew and I were dating we went on a trip with his folks and I packed SO much that when he picked me up in his BMW-Z3 (limited storage) to meet his parents he was like- this all can't go! I said YES it has to! I can't not take everything I packed! So he smiled and kindly crammed it into his car and POP- the window on the top, which was convertible and some kind of plastic tore! Oh dear- not a way you want to start a trip! Needless to say- I really didn't need everything I packed (a pair of shoes per outfit, which I packed double outfits depending on outing and mood of the day for 10 days)! PLUS, I packed my books to study? I was in college and was trying to do good while gone, so now I am forced to pack what is "needed"! Also I learned that Andrew was and is very patient with me and he did not explode during a "major" blow out all while my parents stood there to witness a not so good thing...

2. Made a LIST for Andrew (husband) so that the boys don't go hungry and get sleep deprived! example: 8am feed Ashton baby food mixed with 1 scoop of oatmeal, 9-9:30 bottle and nap (usually an hour) You get the idea and I come home to hopefully happy rested kiddos and not too stressed out Daddy!

3. Waiting till 4pm for Jodie to come get me so we can go check into hotel and meet the gals for dinner! (thanks for coming to get me Jodie- Andrew needs my car for the boys and running around)

4. Thankful Daughter- Mom is coming over from Conroe to watch the boys so that I can leave and accomplish #3! She is also bringing the boys dinner, so that they don't have to cook! She ROCKS and Andrew is super happy cause it is shrimp alfredo and that is one of his FAVorites!

So off I go to fill my well with the LORD's words and some amazing gals! Ciao-

Archer waving goodbye and telling me not to worry he will take care of Daddy and Squirmy Worm (Ashton)- really it was from the park this week and he was running away from me, because he didn't want to leave nor have a picture taken by me...

pumpkin patch

I am so blessed to have an amazing photographer as a friend, Sarah Craig with Fish Lips Photography! She joined a group of us at the pumpkin patch and took some ROCKing photos of the boys, which was pretty hard to do considering they just wanted to run around and get into everything! What a treat- thanks Sarah for our mini fall session!

I know I've told you before to check out her blog- http://www.thecraiglife.blogspot.com and website- http://www.fishlipsphotography.com , but you just gotta- she has unbelievable prices and is FABulous with kids! You would be silly NOT to use her for your family, kids, maternity shots, wedding, engagements, or for FUN! Heck- you'll have fun no matter what and LOVE your pictures and make a new friend!

SO full of life and JOY- this kid just lights up my world! I am SO blessed by Archer- he is ALWAYS laughing, running, and TALKing up a storm!

I JUST love this squirmy worm to pieces (Archer created a nickname for Ashton- because he is always moving around)! He is SO sweet and precious- he melts my heart!

Now- getting both boys to focus was a tad challenging with all the excitement, so Archer was trying to get Ashton's and then...Ashton started crying, so the end! Precious photo of my Monkey (Archer) and Squirmy Worm (Ashton)! Pure LOVE among two little brothers!

CLICK here: Pumpkin Patch Cuties- to see many more of my friends kiddos that we are SO blessed by! Just ask Archer about any of the kids and he will have a story or two about each one of them that will have you rolling in your chair!

Happy FALL

fall is in the air...

Putting fall up in our house...pumpkins on tables, harvest blessings posted on our kitchen counter and the scents of pumpkin pie burning fill our home!

Archer and Frankie, as we call him, are NOW friends- the first year we had him Archer was NOT sure, but would sit next to him, the second year- we had to put him away, and this year he is giving him hugs!

A flash back, 2008, of Archer and Frankie at the Heights house...
Our front door with a wreath that I made about 2 years ago- bow and all!

Ashton sitting in the park enjoying a picnic, after the pumpkin patch, yesterday at M&M, which is once a month meeting of the gals and kiddos from our Sunday School class where we just enjoy an outing somewhere in Houston for fun! This month was a pumpkin patch picnic!

Archer and Micah sitting in the wagon at the pumpkin patch- it was hard getting the two of them to focus and smile at the same time- they really did not want to smile! In fact Micah told his Mommy- no more smile Mommy! We kept trying to get a picture of them together, but it wasn't working, so Ally thought sit them in a wagon- they can't move to fast out of it, so here it is!

Archer is SUPER strong- I was SHOCKED! He kept pulling Avery and other kiddos around at the patch, plus the pumpkins! He just loves Avery- "she is pretty"!
Ashton and Will hanging out on the wagon! Ashton (7 1/2 months and Will 1 year old) and are like little twins- same size and all!

TOO precious! Will's Mommy is my dear friend Jodie, whom would of thought we would have two boys each of us- GOD did and HE knew what HE was doing! Thanks!

Archer pulling, Emilee pushing, and Micah, Hannah, and Luke riding! Strong kiddos having SUCH a blast! This is what life is about! What a treasured time- SO blessed to be home and enjoying these moments!
One final picture of my littlest pumpkin in the patch! What a joyous day we all had- I just LOVE my dear friends- they are truly blessing in our lives!

Aubrey's party

Gosh- I wish I would of taken a picture of Aubrey's birthday cake- it was a lady bug themed party and Kristen, her Mommy, made the MOST amazing cake! It LOOKED professional and was yummy! Aubrey is a cute petite girl that we are blessed to be apart of her life- she is the Mommy of the kiddos and it is too sweet to watch!
The kids: Avery, Archer, Aaron (Aubrey's dad), and Emilee playing with Silly String on the a gorgeous day for playing outside! Thanks LORD!

Archer and the birthday girl playing with the shopping cart- she looked puzzled- I'm sure Archer was having a hard time sharing with her! We are really working on this- you are getting better Archer- Mommy is proud of you!

In the meantime while the partying was going on- two little ones were discovering each other! Laurel, Micah's brother, and Ashton were playing in the living room- they kept touching each others face, not sure of each other!
Ashton, "umm, what is she doing? Is she checking me out?" Laurel, "he is pretty cute- I think I might like him!" LOL!

I-10 and giraffe

Every week we take I-10 towards Memorial for small groups and Archer always screams giraffe even when it is dark! At first we were not sure what he was talking about, because you can barely see it from the freeway! You may be asking me where is this and why is there a giraffe? Memorial Hermann is building a Children's hospital and of course they have a fence surrounding the area with cute animals and signage! So being the silly Mom I am we stopped this weekend after Aubrey's birthday party to mark the memory!

Archer standing underneath the giraffe! He was super excited about seeing him up close!

A big building was shading part of the giraffe and Archer, but you get the point and it makes it mark in the Fuller history book of cute moments!

Archer Mommy loves how much you pay attention to your surroundings and can see things that even Mommy and Daddy can't, whether it be cause we are "grown" ups or because it is soooo small and you have amazing eye sight, which neither of your parents do!

The best thing about "things" you point out to us is that I have learned again to see life in a different perspective!

Thank you GOD for the blessing of Archer!

guys night

Yesterday was cleaning day and I washed sheets too, but Archer's were not dry in time for bedtime, so Andrew and Archer got the spare set and where making his bed while I finished washing dishes! I heard giggling, so I walked into the room and this is what I found...
boys playing under a "tent" made instead of the bed...umm...this is what happens when you leave little ones unattended! LOL! :)

I think every little boy makes tents at some point in his life with sheets and blankets, so Andrew decided to join in the fun and they told stories under the tent and laughed! Precious moments in their journey as father and son....
